THE FIRM

Designing Success since 1973. Intergroup began as a smaller commercial architectural, planning, and interior design firm. Through the years we have grown and ranked among the top architecture firms in the state. What began as a hand drawing of three arrows aligned toward a circle became not only the firm logo, but the guiding design philosophy for the firm – our firm is only successful when all our efforts prioritize the client’s idea of project success.

Shaped by this firm philosophy, Intergroup has designed over 11,000 projects. From our offices in Littleton, CO we have managed national accounts and completed work in multiple states. Now as a mid-sized firm with a highly experienced staff, our design methods incorporate formalized project processes that prioritize client input and provide direction for decisions that will impact the overall outcome.

Through the years Intergroup has prospered by our reputation for focused project processes, excellent client experiences, and outstanding project outcomes. Evidence of our success is found in our loyal client base and the fact that over 85% of our work is for repeat or referral clients.

WHAT’S DESIGNING SUCCESS?

Designing Success has two parts – the first, and of course most important, you!  Your needs and desires define our creative solutions and our expertise executes goals into realities. Really, you are our first priority. Second, Designing Success is our commitment to what we believe are the three most important aspects of your project: the process, your experience, and the outcome.

While you’re here, take a few moments and tour the website. Many decisions were made to put together our new site and each was made with you in mind. Our goal is for you to find information that best serves your decision making.

Keep reading below and learn about how we fulfill our commitment to exceptional processes, excellent client experiences, and outstanding project outcomes.

PROCESS

It starts with our design methods.

There’s a lot of discovery that goes into designing a building, and to make this easier for our clients we have developed a five step process that defines project success criteria and provides direction for decisions that impact architectural fees, construction costs, project viability, and timely project completion. We like to call these five steps the iGTechnique and it’s all about tangible deliverables we incorporate to make your project successful.

EXPERIENCE

Your experience is important.

That's why we place a high value on meeting and exceeding your expectations. Below are a few specific ways we improve your experience when working alongside us:

1. We listen and ask questions.
Simple concept, yes. Significant to the success of your project? It's 100% significant! It is also a quality that is difficult to find in an architectural firm.

2. We provide a consistent team.
Our principals are involved throughout your entire project and our team is structured for clear accountability. (Find out who is a principal).

3. We are available and responsive to your inquiries.
We are a "hands-on firm" and we offer custom service, we go the extra mile, and we are there when you need us and call you back on the off chance we’re not.

OUTCOME

We know what you really care about is a successfully designed facility. Here's what we'll do for you:

1. Blend the creative and the practical
Our exteriors are visually interesting, welcoming, and recognizable to the surrounding community with a design that ensures the long-term viability of your investment. Our interiors are designed to match the soul of your brand and the future strategy of your business.

2. Minimize Risk
As early as 1974 we developed design firsts that are now industry standards. Our staff is highly experienced with an average employee tenure of 14 plus years.

3. Flexible and Long-Lasting Designs
Our approach is holistic and emphasizes project outcomes that prioritize flexibility for today and exit strategy for tomorrow.
