What is your favorite equipment in the gym?

I became pretty good friends with the elliptical following arthroscopic surgery for a meniscus tear in my left knee. I’m all about low impact now.

What is your favorite architectural quote?
“Less is more only where more is no good.” Frank Lloyd Wright

Where is your favorite place to do your favorite sports?
For tennis, the center court at the Holly Tennis Center of Arapahoe Road.  Well protected from the wind and has a great view of the mountains.  For disc golf, Johnny Roberts Memorial Park in Arvada.  All par 3 course and is great for beginners.

What did you want to be when you were a child?
Car salesman.  My grandfather owned a Toyota dealership and I thought he was the coolest.  I’m pretty sure I paid too much for my first car - a well used 1977 Toyota Corolla Deluxe Liftback. Thanks, Gramps.

What was your best summer vacation?
Disneyworld. Everyone is so happy there, it’s contagious.  It’s the only place where I’ve spent $15 on a squirt bottle (it’s really hot in Orlando) and felt good about getting ripped off.

What is your favorite book?
The Dark Tower seven book series by Stephen King.  The series includes some of my favorite genres - sci-fi, western and horror.

What are your most awesome skills?
Etch’a’sketch artist.

Have your ever met someone famous?
Does Bowzer from Sha Na Na count?  Turns out Bowzer is an avid photographer. We met him on a whale watching boat tour in Alaska.   You know, taking pics of whale tails is harder than it looks!
