  • getting to know Collin...

    Who is your hero?
It’s a three way tie between Jimmy Buffett, James Bond, and Homer Simpson.  Jimmy and James because of their lifestyles and Homer because of his wisdom.

Who is your favorite architect?
Douglas Darden, not just for his incredible graphical talent but for his ability to tell a story through his work.  His theoretical buildings, rendered in graphite, are darkly morbid yet surprisingly inspiring.

What is your favorite restaurant?
I can’t get enough of Romano’s calzones or eggplant parmesan.  It was the first restaurant my family ate at when we moved to Littleton and it’s conveniently located near Intergroup.

What is the best concert you have ever seen?
One Valentine’s Day I made my wife go with me to see Bob Seger at the Pepsi Center.  I was able to get amazing seats at a ticket auction, and the best concert I’ve ever seen was also the most expensive.  Totally worth it.

What is on your wish list?
Flying cars, hoverboards, teleportation pods, moon colony, pretty much everything that science fiction has been promising us for years.

Do you often use sarcasm?

I believe sarcasm is the highest level of communication and shows a mastery of the English language. So yes.

What was your most favorite adventure?
On our honeymoon in Fiji my wife and I spent a day hiking through a bamboo forest to a large cave that was the fortress of the last cannibal tribe on the island.  To enter the cave you had to wade waist deep in a river that ran through the cave and was part of an underground spring.
