  • Getting to know Chris...

What is your favorite magazine?
National Geographic intrigued me as a child and continues to appeal to my interests in science, wildlife, nature, and the environment.  I especially enjoy sharing the magazine now with my two daughters and teaching them to appreciate the wonders of the world.

What’s your favorite food?
My family is Italian and food has always been unusually important in the overall scheme of things.  It is fairly customary in our family to start planning the next meal shortly after finishing the current one.  Because of this, there are not many foods that I don’t like, but I can’t ever seem to get enough Japanese food, and sushi in particular is a big favorite.

What is your favorite quote?
“Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration... - Ideas are necessary to be successful, but hard work and tenacity are what get things done.” Thomas Edison

What was your best summer vacation?
A full week in Disney World - Orlando, Florida with my best friend and both our families.  I've never had so much fun in my entire life! I’m not a big thrill seeker, but peer pressure from my friend and my daughters lured me onto numerous scary rides that I will never forget!

What is your favorite tool?
Anything used in the garden. I have a real passion for gardening, my neighbors may even suggest that it is actually an obsession.

What is your favorite sport?

Golf is one of my favorites, but skiing has always been my absolute favorite ever since my sister first taught me as a kid in Snow mass, Colorado (plus, skiing is much less frustrating than golf!).
