  • getting to know Bill...

    What’s on your wish list?
My favorite auto, a 1956 Thunderbird, black, convertible, V8.

What is your favorite beverage?
An iced tea with cranberry juice, on the deck on a summer afternoon, after mowing the lawn - twice.

What is your favorite ice cream?
Coldstone’s chocolate with white chocolate chips.  Orange sherbet is a close second.

What is your favorite sports team?

New York Yankees - my dad would always tell me about playing the greatest baseball player that ever played, Joe DiMaggio, in the Special Forces Division during WWII.  Green Bay Packers, being an NFL owner with my share of stock, who else would I cheer for on Sundays?  Most importantly, the teams that my daughters are playing on!

Beatles or Rolling Stones?

Neither - Buddy Holly.  Both of those bands based their styles on the music that Buddy wrote and performed.

What is your favorite equipment in the gym?
The treadmill!  It allows me to get my daily four to five miles when the weather is cold.

What are your top five movies?
The Pride of the Yankees - how could Lou Gerhig, knowing that he was going to die, say that he had a “bad break in life”? Tin Men for the subliminal message of the death of the metal siding business, The Searchers starring John Wayne, for inspiration, and for the line used by Buddy Holly in one of his hits “That’ll be the day..." To round out the list, Big Jake, and Bye-Bye Birdie.
